Chad Collins brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, lending, underwriting, transaction structuring, and §1031 exchange strategy.

His career spans commercial mortgage banking, agency lending, private bridge lending, debt and equity placement, and advisory work for real estate investors. This experience allows Chad to assess opportunities through the lens of transaction feasibility, capital structure, risk, and execution.

Today, his work includes advising real estate investors on tailored §1031 strategies and helping operators understand what must be in place before they pursue exchange capital. His background in underwriting, credit risk, lending, and closing helps Illumine clients move beyond a compelling story and build an opportunity that can withstand serious investor scrutiny.
